Dr. Stoner has been providing psychological services in the Chicagoland suburbs for over 40 years. He has continuously been in private practice since licensed as a clinical psychologist by the state of Illinois in 1972. During his career, Dr. Stoner has worked with the Joliet Pubic Grade Schools and has assisted many police departments throughout the Chicago metropolitan area in the selection of police patrol and line officers. Dr. Stoner has established himself as a familiar face in the Family and Criminal Court Divisions. In the courtroom, Dr. Stoner has provided expert witness testimony for numerous child custody/visitation issues and has assisted the court with psychological evidence to aid in sentence litigation in capital cases many times. Dr. Stoner has also spent much time providing psychological services to seriously emotionally disturbed young adults in a high school setting. Over the years, Dr. Stoner has dedicated his career to helping our community cope with issues of anger, fear, depression,destructive habits and self-doubt. Here, at Paramo's Counseling Center he continues his life's work. At our practice, he concentrates his efforts on individuals who have alcohol/drug abuse problems and who have issues of anger management and domestic violence to resolve.

Armando M. Paramo M.A.,C.A.A.D.C, N.C.R.S., DCFC
Dr. Khadri is an admirable part of our team and an invaluable ally to our clients. He is liscensed in Illinois and has a broad-based background in adult psychiatry, with special interests in biological psychiatry and substance abuse. Dr. Khadri simultaneously served as both a clinician and an administrator for 14 years at a hospital in Oman. He founded and practiced at a clinic in India for two years, while concurrently holding a rotating internship at Ghandi Hospital. Dr. Khadri was a former House Physician in the Psychiatric ER of two large teaching hospitals in the New York City area. Dr. Khadri then went on to work for McDonough and Gulton County as Clinical Director in Community Mental Health . After, he spent 7 years as a staff psychiatrist for Tinley Park Mental Health Center. From 1991-1999, Dr. Khadri was an attending physician at Silver Cross Hospital and conducted outpatient clinic.
Dr. Khadri has also served as an attending physician at Glen Oaks Hospital and Rock Creek Center. Dr. Khadri has also worked as a Consultant in Community Mental Health for Will, Grundy and Kankakee County. Additionally, he has been a consultant for: McAllister Nursing Home, Bethesda Nursing Home, Wood Glen Pavilion Nursing Home, Briar Place Nursing Home, Washington Heights Nursing Home, Midway Neurological and Rehab Nursing Home, Lexington Healthcare and Morris Healthcare. Dr. Khadri still holds outpatient clinic twice a week in Willowbrook. Dr. Khadri is proud to be with Paramo's Counseling Center, where he can follow his interest in substance abuse psychiatry and help clients alongside accomplished professionals.

Owner and founder of Paramo's Counseling Center, Armando has over 30 years of counseling experience. Over the years he has lent his services to: Will County Health Department, Provina St. Joesph's Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital, and The Suburban Psychiatric Counseling Center. Armando finds continuing education in his field to be extremely important in providing the best possible service to every client who walks through the door. He is constantly attending workshops and classes to ensure his clients have the most up-to-date counseling techniques availble to them as well as an approach that will fit uniquely to their person. Additionally, Armando provides educational presentations for our community. He has been a recurring guest speaker at Joliet Township Highschool and The Spanish Center. He has also done PSAs on the local cable channel. Mr. Paramo's certifications include: Certified Advanced AODA Counselor, National Certified Recovery Specialist, Diplomate of Clinical Forensic Counseling, Medication Assisted Addiction Treatment Professional, Certified and Trained Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Diplomate of Anger management specialist.
